Lugging a hot, heavy sickness around the streets of Williamsburg — I just needed to get out of the house, out of this head of guilt at the small thing that meant the most. High on a dance floor I make a new friend, settle for a Red Bull, let shame pass away till the morning.

A red brick apartment with white doors and windows sits on a quiet street in the morning sun, shadows of trees thrown on the ground.
